The first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 will be between the winners of Group A and the Runners Up in Group B at Cardiff, Wales Stadium and will guarantee the first finalists.
With its inviting short straight boundaries and decent pace pitch, it is likely the batsmen of both teams will relish the opportunity to stamp their authority on the match.
But it’s not a venue to take lightly. In the past the underdog has prevailed in Cardiff so if England are in this half of the draw, they will be careful to plan and execute properly.
However, this is where the stars want to be – in big, knock out matches with a final beckoning. Cardiff is a lovely cricketing venue and the atmosphere will be full on and passionate – it’s what the Welsh do so well – so if you want to be where all the action is, look no further than our two night break packages.
